Liberty Walk Miura

Back in January of 2018, I flew to Japan to take photos at Tokyo Auto Salon. I got approved for media, worked out a plan of what to shoot and when to deliver photos and articles, and set off for what was genuinely one of the most stressful few days I’ve experienced. Travelling on my own, getting the wrong address to my accommodations, taking a city bus in the wrong direction on the first day - it was an absolute mess but alas the deliverables were deliverabled.

One of the biggest show stoppers that year was Liberty Walk’s Miura, a build that drew the ire of purists and regular car guys alike. Seeing it in person (and trying to take photos of it while standing at 6’ 4”) was an experience and a half. Obviously I’m not sharing this to break any news or hop on the social media hype that died off 6 years ago, but after combing through the archives for photos to offer in my online print shop I figured these were certainly cool enough to see the light of virtual day.

Enjoy!
